The SKY HAD SOMETHING TO SAY

9/106 So I’m still trying to learn this photography thing, and Thursday was a bit fun this time. Got a camera from one of Simon’s friends and went out taking photos of motorbikes. First I wanted to capture how beautiful I’d thought the bikes would look if photographed well. Of course it turned out to be much harder than I had imagined it would be trying to get the best shots and getting the best out of a brief span of time where I had to do stuff right. I am learning that photography requires a certain extent of listening to what you want to capture. That you have to know when the subject seems to be most ready and in that moment, get the shot.   At times the subject was too fast I had to try getting the shot close to thirty times to get some certain image I’d really wanted to capture – of the bikes in very fast motion. So all in all, these nine images have been picked out from 100 and the editing which I am also still learning, wasn’t a piece of cake though I am glad I can do t

I’ve been like that from a long time ago. Maybe just the story books we read in school.the ones are forced to read. But if it has

HIO PESA SIO YA MAMAKO BANA! (THAT MONEY IS NOT YOUR MOTHER’S!) Corruption is killing us! Misappropriation of funds is just as bad! Ethnicity is another! The way public funds are spent by the people working in government offices and other relevant institutions that serve citizens of any country are more often than not dependent on these gross factors. In the light of this fact I decided to round up a couple of classmates and friends to pose (without any prior notice) in a manner that communicates how they feel and think about this sad situation in our country.  The reality is that there is enough money in public offices to fund crucial activities in these institutions but some things don’t happen just because someone in that office doesn’t want to provide the funds for that. These photos thus depict a situation where citizens have been denied funding and are tired of this anomaly (hands close to body and sad face) and are warning those responsible against further misappropriat
